I got a call this morning from Charmaine of Eastwood and she confirmed that we can book Cinema 5 or 6 for our wedding ceremony! :)

Still pretty tired from the previous days' ocular, we made our way to New Manila to check Casa Camba. I didn't want to cancel our schedule not only because I felt it was inappropriate (last minute) but also I wanted to complete the ocular schedules I lined up so we could evaluate what we want.
Casa Camba was sort of like the Plaza Ibarra. As soon as we went inside, Jon and I instantly knew this venue did not fit what we had in mind. Out of courtesy since we were already there, we thought we should at least check what they had to offer. Their rates are very reasonable and when we tried the food, we only liked one dish --- and food is very important for us. We thanked the people in charge for their time and offer then we left. Both of us were pretty tired already and we couldn't wait to get home. Even with the wedding preps in motion, there was still one major issue that Jon and I haven’t really solved yet and this issue would determine the future of our wedding.
I spent the whole day in Autohaus BMW today to do research (because I don’t have internet at home haha).
Jon and I talked about a cinema theme since we both love watching movies and spent most of our bonding time in movie houses enjoying action flicks, 3d cartoons etc. So we agreed to do the wedding ceremony in a movie house (preferably in Eastwood or Greenhills since this is where we watch often) and then have the reception somewhere nice. We were informed that one of the first logical things to do (aside from informing parents that we're getting married) is to check for venue because this obviously could affect our wedding date. :)
So over lunch break, I lined up venues for ocular later this evening, tomorrow and on Sunday. Jon & I are still open to exploring whatever is out there, see if the theme we're playing in our minds would fit any venue. After a yummy salad dinner with Pia and Prich (Pia! Looovvvee your the salad dressing you made!), we head off to our first venue. Today was pretty comforting.
I received a reminder and a promise for things to come. I was reminded to find time to rest so I will be more open to hearing Him and to believe in His promise that He will guard / take care of the rest, I just need to guard my heart. Grateful and hopeful. |
